Employee salary settings

On the employee salaries panel, we can add the salary type, its validity period, and the gross sum.

Click the “Add new salary” button.

Salary type – click on the field and select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu for the signed contract.
The selected salary type determines the taxes and which code the salary will be reflected with in the Tax Board’s TSD report.

Salary period – select the appropriate one (most commonly used are monthly salary or hourly wage).

Gross sum– enter it according to the selected salary period (monthly salary, hourly wage).

Valid since – enter the date from which this salary will start applying to the employee.
The “Valid until” field remains empty for now.

Once all the data has been entered, click “Save salary.”

Advice If the employee’s salary changes, open the initially added salary for editing and enter the last valid day of the previous salary in the “Valid until” field.
Add the new salary with a new start date.
