Using filters in lists

In addition to the general search field, it is also possible to search within lists based on data in different columns. To do this, click on the “Advanced Search” button next to the search field, and search fields will appear above all visible columns.

The visible columns in lists are configurable. By clicking the “Actions” button next to the list, you will see the option “List columns.” The available columns depend on the list you are currently viewing.

  • Text field – searches by text inclusion. For similar names, write the name out in more detail to find an exact match.
  • Number field (amounts) – for exact matches, enter an equals sign at the beginning of the search (=111.11).
For ranges, use a hyphen (0-111).
For finding amounts greater than or equal to a specific value, use a hyphen after the number (500-).
To find amounts up to a certain value, place the hyphen before the amount (-500).
  • Date fields – to find a single month, enter the month and year (03.2024). For filtering by a specific date, enter day+month+year (20.03.2024). For a range, use a hyphen between the start and end dates (01.01.2024-15.02.2024).
For transactions up to a specific date, place the hyphen before the date (-20.03.2024), and for transactions from a specific date onward, place the hyphen after the date (20.03.2024-).

Different lists have different columns that can be used for search. Here are some additional tips:

  • Due date – to find unpaid invoices, set the filter to 00.00.0000 (an additional option if filtering by status is insufficient).
  • Time column (notes, user history) – search follows the same principle as in a regular date column.
  • Sales invoice column (prepayment invoices) – to find prepayment invoices not yet turned into invoices, set the filter to =0.
