Warehouse item write-off

Warehouse -> Documents -> New document -> Inventory write-off

The view that opens contains the inventory write-off document form.

● General information panel

  1. Document no. – generated automatically by the system. You can configure the numbering formula under Settings -> Environment settings -> Warehouse settings.
  2. Date – today’s date by default.
  3. Warehouse – by default, the first warehouse in the list. You can change it by clicking on the field. More detailed information about warehouse settings can be found at the link in point 1.
  4. Description – an optional field where you can add additional information regarding the write-off.

● Document lines

  1. Item – item code
  2. Stock quantity – once the item is selected, the stock quantity before the write-off is displayed
  3. Unit – the unit specified on the item card is displayed
  4. Quantity – the quantity to be written off
  5. Add new row – adds an additional item to the write-off
● The write-off document can be found under Warehouse -> Documents. To view the contents of the document, click on the write-off line.

● By default, selling goods that would result in a negative stock balance is not allowed. If there have already been movements in the warehouse, you cannot enable negative stock yourself and must contact our customer support for assistance.
