Settings -> Environment settings -> Import settings -> Add new import template
If you frequently import data, you can create an import template containing the necessary fields for your convenience.
In the General settings panel, you can define the technical settings of the import template.
- Name – the name of the import template.
- Object type – select from the dropdown which type of template you want to create.
- File encoding – can remain “automatic”. Change this only if you have a specific preference.
- Separator of fields – the character used to separate fields. Can remain “automatic”; change only if you have a specific preference.
- Field limiter – can remain “automatic”. Change this only if you have a specific preference.
- Includes the heading line – this option specifies whether the first row of the CSV file contains the column names.
The import template consists of the columns shown in the “Selected columns” section.
Mandatory columns are marked with an asterisk (*).
To move elements from one column to the other, place the mouse cursor over the desired element, hold down the left mouse button, and drag the element to the appropriate column.
The number shown in the white field indicates the order of the columns in the CSV file.
