Partners -> Notes

The system automatically saves a log of sent sales invoices, quotes, etc., under Notes. The log is also visible on the client/supplier card (Partners -> Clients and Suppliers).

Notes can also be added manually to better manage information related to the client or supplier.

You can search notes using search filters. For more information, see the guide Using filters in lists.

Adding a new note

  1. Client/supplier – select the client or supplier from the list to add a note.
  2. Contents – type the note’s content.

Added notes can be viewed in the Notes list and on the client or supplier card.

Editing or deleting an existing note
The content of a system-generated note cannot be edited.

Notes written by the user can be edited or deleted.

To edit a note, click on it (Partners -> Notes) and choose “Edit note” or “Delete note” from the Actions menu.

When a sales invoice is deleted, a note is retained containing the deleted invoice’s number, date and amount. The detailed content is not preserved.

Notes related to specific sales and purchase invoices can be added. They do not appear under the notes section of the client/supplier card, but can be found in the general Notes list.

The notes panel on sales and purchase invoices displays invoice-related activities. System-generated events (such as creation, modification, marking as paid, removing payment links, etc.) cannot be deleted. Notes added by the user can be deleted if the user has the necessary permissions.
